12 VOLT Fuel Filter Heater Wrap

Below is information on how THIS product fits OUR fuel system. Then below that, it is information directly from WVO themselves.

- Use two of these wraps for ONE Marty's fuel system. Place one wrap on each filter.

- When fuel gels it will be captured in the filter, this is where you need heat the most.

- Fuel will NOT gel up any differently in OUR fuel system than it would in a standard fuel system. In fact, these heater wraps are NOT required if the fuel has the proper winter additives in it. Also, our fuel system makes it EASIER to deal with fuel gelling than the OEM system, if it does happen.

- Wind Chill does NOT affect actual temperature of the fuel or filters - it only affects the rate at which the temperature changes to ambient. See the video below.

- It is recommended to run this setup on a TIMED relay so you do not forget about it and leave it on overnight - killing your batteries.

- This is a great choice for trucks that do not have access to electrical outlets and must rely on the batteries contained within the trucks to energize the heaters. We have 120v options available on our website if needed. 

- It is recommended to run one circuit PER wrap. 14 gauge wire for 8.3a is fine for all trucks if you run two separate circuits. See diagram below.

Heated Filter Wrap 12V - 100W

• INCLUSION — The kit comes with heated filter wrap 12V - 100W 12VDC . This is a wrap meant to warm canister fuel filters for proper flow of WVO. This is a smaller wrap for a wide range of filters. It has 14 gauge wires and draws 8.3A.
• COMPATIBILITY — It works with our Donaldson Filter combo and with Mercedes, VW and other stock fuel filters. Surface temperature can reach 300F+ Only use on metal filters.
• ADAPTABLE SIZE — This fuel filter fits on stock fuel filters on Mercedes, VW and more. It fits filters with Diameter between 3"-4"(7.6 - 10.1cm); Circumference between 9.5"-12.5"(24-31.5cm) - Heating area is 3"(7.6cm) high by 9.5"(24cm) long.
